Anthony from Moi Shines on the Food Rebels Podcast

Last week, Anthony, our passionate representative from Moi by Mademoiselle Desserts, made an exciting appearance on the Food Rebels podcast. Known for its in-depth conversations with food industry innovators and trailblazers, Food Rebels provided the perfect platform for Anthony to share our story and passion for bringing French Mini Beignets to the UK. Pronounced “ben-yay”, not “benny’s” as the podcast host thought!

During the lively discussion, Anthony delved into the origins and history of Moi by Mademoiselle Desserts, explaining how our mission is to introduce the UK consumer to the delectable experience of French beignets, emphasizing the quality ingredients and traditional techniques that set our beignets apart from doughnuts.

One of the most engaging parts of the podcast was when Anthony enlightened listeners on what makes a beignet special and why it might just be better than a donut. He discussed the airy, light texture of beignets, achieved through a precise dough preparation and frying process. “The ingredients make all the difference, the higher egg content, the fresh butter, the yeast. A donut is just not made in a similar manner” Anthony explained. He also highlighted the generous fillings and the variety of our flavours.

We also spoke about our recent success at the Pub in the Park, Marlow. He shared stories of the overwhelmingly positive response from attendees and the joy of seeing festival-goers’ delighted reactions when they took their first bite.

We also touched on the future for Moi by Mademoiselle Desserts. He spoke about our plans for expanding our presence in the UK market, participating in more events, and continually innovating to bring new and exciting products to our customers.
